"On Eagle's Wings"

You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord

Who abide in His shadow for life

Say to the Lord, "My refuge, My rock, in whom I trust!"

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings

Bear you on the breath of dawn

Make you to shine like the sun

And hold you in the palm of His hand

The snare of the fowler will never capture you

And famine will bring you no fear

Under His wings, your refuge, His faithfulness, your shield

And for to His angels, He's given a command

To guard you in all of your ways

Upon their hands they will bear you up

Lest you dash your foot against a stone

And hold you, hold you in the palm of His hand

Matthew 6:2-8

Whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 

But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

And whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 

But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Psalm 138:8

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;

Do not give up hope. Do not think there is nothing that can be done. God can change anything and turn any situation around. Even when doctors have given up all hope and say there is nothing that they can do, Jesus still can.

He can do what is needed; He can do what is necessary. When we put our faith in Him, He can turn it around. (07/01/2023)

Holy Mighty God, even when I’m broken I know that you are at work. Even when my eyes are full of tears I know that you are in control.

I ask for your comfort and healing. Please give me the guidance to do the right things.

With your wisdom and your help, I know that in time you can turn my tears into joy.
